Welcome to Sustainable Ulster County! We're excited to provide Ulster County residents and businesses with a valuable resource to find and act on the many incentives to improve energy efficiency, reduce energy demand, use green energy, and save money.

Our beautiful County is blessed with many natural resources and an incredable quality of life. By working together, the municipal governments, businesses and residents, we will make the Ulster County a model 'green' community.

There are a variety of incentives from Federal tax credits to State wide programs, and Utility programs available to our residents and businesses to lower our energy consumptions. This website has aggregated all of these programs in one place. This information will be maintained and updated to keep current. Check out the "Save Money" tab.

We also added information on County projects that will help the environment and reduce our energy expenses. Ulster County has been active in utilizing clean energy grants and incentives to save taxpayers money. Learn about these efforts in the "What's New" tab.

You will also be able to find green product and service companies that serve Ulster County, learn how to switch to green energy, and lower your carbon profile. Please visit the "Buy Green" tab.

The "Get Involved" tab provide tips to improve the energy efficiency of homes and businesses, and is a place to find community organizations and grass root efforts in Ulster County. Check it out.
